Summary

• The essential and compulsory part of the EpiDoc Guidelines are those parts which encode and represent the Leiden Conventions sigla (as opposed, for example, to tagging of names, which are optional, albeit recommended). These need to be checked over one time by a range of users to confirm that they are adequate and stable.
